Asdzáán Naadą́ą́ʼ : an homage to the knowledge keepers
——————————————————————————
Ahéhee’ to the knowledge keepers who keep our cultures alive. Ahéhee’ to the parents, másánís, cheiis, naaliis, aunties, uncles, cousins, and community members who ensure our lifeways continue. Ahéhee’ to the farmers, the hataałiis, the singers, the storytellers, the language speakers and teachers, the dancers, the seed keepers, the herders and ranchers, and the cooks who embody our cultures in their daily lives. Ahéhee’ to the weavers, the painters, the potters and jewelers who represent us with their work.
Culture is a verb.
